Our mission is to inspire and support people, businesses, and communities to value our local taiao (environment) and act to prioritize sustainability.

Airing time: Sundays at 5:30pm

Welcome to Talking Taiao!  This show aims to inspire and support people, businesses, and communities to value our local taiao (environment) and act to prioritize sustainability.  We focus on positive, educational and uplifting discussions, showing how a culture of kaitiakitanga (guardianship of the land) can make Taranaki a thriving region for all!  Made by the team at Sustainable Taranaki.

Every week we talk to a different guest involved in sustainability or conservation, learn about their mahi (work), grow our knowledge and offer inspiration and ideas on how we can all play a part in the future our whenua (land).

This show is created and made possible by Sustainable Taranaki. Sustainable Taranaki is a charitable trust that was started in 1992 in Inglewood by a group of progressive environmentalists. It now has grown and expanded its outreach but keeps the same vision of prioritizing our environment.
