Te Ara Taiao is a 6 episode show that takes a haerenga  (journey) to different places and aspects of the Taranaki environment in which student leaders have been learning about and working to protect.  Listen to rangatahi (youth/kids) share about their journey with Te Ara Taiao, working to a Māori lunar calendar (Maramataka), the importance of whanaungatanga - investment in relationships, and protecting the taiao.

Te Ara Taiao is a collaborative environmental education programme in Taranaki.  It aims to enhance connections between hapū, Iwi, schools and community, to develop leadership, and work together to enhance the mauri and ecology of our whenua, awa, maunga, and moana.
